Note: (1) you need to explain (= show the work for) your answers in order to get credit;
          (2)
you are only allowed to have the exam and a calculator; 
               
if you are caught with any extra material (e.g. extra sheets of paper) your exam
                will be immediately collected and you will get 0 points for this exam.
          (3) if you do not stop writing when told so at the end, a penalty of 10 points will be
                applied to your score.

              2 (skip Sections 2.4, the part of 2.7 on the Cournot game, and 2.8), 
              3,  4,  5 (skip Section 5.3),  6,  7,  8,
              9 (skip the three versions of Bayes' formula  in Section 9.3, and Sections 9.4.2 and 9.6),
              11,  14 (skip the last two pages of Section 14.2 on the Cournot game and Section 14.4)
              and 15 (only the first 9 pages of Section 15.1).
