@UCDavisEcon Kadee Russ appointed to Peterson Institute, ROWE Editorship

@UCDavisEcon Professor Kadee Russ was appointed a Non-Resident Senior Fellow of the Peterson Institute for International Economics. The Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) is an independent nonprofit, nonpartisan research organization dedicated to strengthening prosperity and human welfare in the global economy through expert analysis and practical policy solutions. Fellows include an array of academics and past senior policy officials.

She also was appointed an Editor-in-Chief for the Review of World Economics, originally founded in 1913 as the world's first journal dedicated to international economics.

Russ has recently been interviewed on US trade policy toward China and Europe for NPR Marketplace and on the US-Russia meeting following the G-7 Summit by Fox40.

Russ's work and expertise on steel tariffs have been quoted in an array of outlets on both sides of the aisle over the last year and a half, including the Wall Street Journal, NBC, Cato Institute, RStreet, Reuters, Forbes, NPR, VoxEU, Foreign Policy, Mercatus Center, National Review, Foreign Affairs, and Center for Equitable Growth.

She has been interviewed for podcasts on the resilience and vulnerability of local labor markets to import competition for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, on cybersecurity in economic foreign policy for Cyber Theory, and on economic policy for a student at Portola High School.
