Professor Page nominated for the newly created Council of Economic Advisors of California

Professor Page was nominated for the newly created Council of Economic Advisor of California. The Council will advise Governor Gavin Newson and the Director of the California Department of Finance Keely Martin Bosler on wide-ranging economic issues and deepen relationships between the Administration and academic researchers to keep California moving toward an economy that is inclusive, resilient, and sustainable.

The council will be co-chaired by Laura Tyson (UC Berkeley) and Fernando Lozano (Pomona College). Besides the co-chairs and Professor Page, the council also includes 10 other top-level academics and experts, among them Susan Athey (Stanford University), Hilary Hoynes (UC Berkeley) and  Maurice Obstfeld (UC Berkeley).
