Presenting the 2012-2013 Job Market Candidates in Economics

This year the department has six PhD students who will be graduating in June 2013, and who are now seeking positions in the job market for new PhD's.  As usual their research spans a wide variety of fields within economics: from social mobility in Qing China, to the role of uncertainty in creating output losses in the Great Depression and in the Great Recession; from  the effect of natural resource discoveries on countries’ rates of economic growth, to  the effects of cigarette smoking by pregnant mothers on their children’s’ outcomes.  The particulars of all these students can be found under this link: Job Market Candidates.  The placement officers are: Professors Gregory Clark and Ina Simonovska.
