Sample Plans

It is important for students to prepare an academic plan, while bearing in mind that not all of the many elective classes are offered every quarter. The following sample plans can assist you in capturing your academic planning for beginning and transfer students.

 

4-Year Academic Plan

The 4-Year Academic Plan could include the following, but there are many variations. Students often have difficulty getting into one or more courses they want during their freshman and sophomore years, and should be flexible in making choices. Once students are launched into the major, they may seek ongoing advice from faculty advisors.

These tracks, based on highly topical issues of our modern economies and leveraging the excellence of faculty in research and policy, provide specific skills to students who are passionate about one of these issues. Each track requires the completion of 3–4 courses in a related group.
