RePEc (Research Papers in Economics) is an independent, nonprofit collaborative resource established and maintained through the participation of hundreds of volunteers in 85 countries to enhance dissemination of research in economics and related sciences. The project encompasses a bibliographic database of working papers, journal articles, books, book chapters and software components, as well as various rankings of Economics institutions and activities.
The National Bureau of Economic Research is the nation's leading nonprofit economic research organization. Its members have encompassed Nobel Prize winners in Economics, and 13 past chairs of the President's Council of Economic Advisers have been researchers at the NBER.
