Three UC Davis international economists will speak about the U.S.-China Trade War on October 1st

Building on decades of research and travel to the region, Economics Professors Robert Feenstra, Deborah Swenson, and Wing Thye Woo will discuss the significance of recent trade tensions for global prosperity and international cooperation.

The first week of Fall Quarter saw the implementation of U.S. tariffs on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods, and China's retaliatory tariffs on $60 Billion of American products. The three UC Davis experts in East Asian economies, international trade, and international finance will speak on the U.S.-China Trade War: Global Prosperity and Cooperation under Threat Monday, October 1st, 4-5:30pm in the Memorial Union de Carli Room 201. The event is free and open to the public.
