Workshop on Neuroeconomics and Endocrinological Economics
- We are pleased to hold the Workshop on Neuroeconomics and Endocrinological Economics at UC Davis, November 20 - 21, 2009. Neuroeconomics studies brain functions involved in individual and strategic decisions such as decisions under risk and uncertainty, competition and cooperation. Endocrinological Economics studies how hormones interact with individual and strategic decisions. Both interdisciplinary fields are at the frontier of today’s research in economics and neuroscience. The workshop brings together innovative researchers active in economics, neuroscience, endocrinology, genetics, anthropology and psychology to exchange novel results.
- Sessions are planned on (1) Neuroeconomic Experiments, (2) Neuroeconomic Theory & Modeling, (3) Hormones, Risktaking, Competition & Cooperation, and (4) Genetics & Economic Behavior.
