Trivedi (1998) REGRESSION ANALYSIS OF COUNT DATA Econometric Society Monograph No.30, Cambridge University Press. The data sets and programs are in the following format, where x is the number of the chapter in which the data is used, and for program files and results y = 1,2,3,.. is the program number: racdx.1st Description of data set and the following data sets. racdx.asc Data set as ascii data set. racdx.dat,.dht etc Data set as gauss data set or other data set. Note: .dat extension is for Gauss data set not text data. racdxpy.lim,.sas,... Limdep program, SAS program, etc ... racdxpy.out Results from Limdep program, SAS program, etc ... For example, racd5p2.lim is the second limdep program for chapter 5, and the results are in racd5p2.out CHAPTER 3 Doctor visits The data set is in racd3.asc The data set is exactly that used in chapter 3, with the addition of six other count variables (some used in chapter 8): hospital admissions, hospital days, nondoctor consultations, total medicines, prescribed medicines, nonprescribed medicines. It is also used in chapter 8. CHAPTER 4 Doctor visits Same data as Chapter 3.
